The Saginomiya station is home to the Seibu Shinjuku Line Express, thus providing a convenient access to Shinjuku with only 11 mins of transit time. By transferring to Takadanobaba station, one can also access the Yamanote lines. Asagaya, Nakano, and Ogikubo areas are also easy to access thanks to several buses that actively operates around the district.
The Saginomiya neighborhood is highly appreciated for its peaceful and nature-friendly atmosphere, with the Myodoji River running nearby accentuating these praises.
Found in the North Wing of the station is the Nakasugi street which houses a collective of shopping boutiques. The South Wing is home to shrines, temples, and parks to contrast the vivacious mood of the opposite wing.
